The Town of North Topsail Beach Board of Aldermen will hold a Special Meeting (Closed Session) on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 10:00 A.M.  This meeting will be held in the Meeting Room of the North Topsail Beach Town Hall, located at 2008 Loggerhead Court, North Topsail Beach, North Carolina.

The purpose of this meeting is to convene a Closed Session to discuss personnel matters as provided by North Carolina General Statute § 143-318.11. Closed sessions.  Section (6) To consider the qualifications, competence, performance, character, fitness, conditions of appointment, or conditions of initial employment of an individual public officer or employee or prospective public officer or employee; or to hear or investigate a complaint, charge, or grievance by or against an individual public officer or employee.

The purpose of this meeting is to convene a Closed Session to discuss litigation matters as provided by North Carolina General Statute § 143-318.11. Closed sessions.  Section (3): To consult with Town Attorney in order to preserve the attorney-client privilege regarding pending case Jackson v. Town of North Topsail Beach.

The public will take notice that the Town of Town of North Topsail Beach desires to dispose of certain surplus property of the Town of North Topsail Beach and that the following property has been declared surplus to the needs of the Town:
